Descrizione del course(Course description);
This course is designed to prepare students to move onto sculpture or painting program. Students start with geometrical forms, cast drawings of heads, each facial feature from the David of Michelangelo, drapery study and then move onto live model portraits, study of hands and feet from life.
Students will have individual hours for cast drawings and for their original compositions. It is highly recommended to take the anatomy course with Anthony Visco if you are not familiar with the subject. The works from the course of Anthony Visco, in this case, will substitute some of your individual works from this course.
Students need to finish all the drawings from the course, one original composition and one master copy. Students will pass this course if this objective is achieved.
